Hello, my name is ½ÅÇÑ¼Ö and my English name is Joanne. Today we went to Unhyeongung Palace. I was very surprised about the lofty gates because when i go to Gyeongbokgung Palace, I can't see high gates but in here i can see it. The lofty gates represent the pride. It is high because a sedan chair and a horse needs to go through the gate. And there is lower gates. When we go through the lower gate, we need to lower our head so it represent modesty. Next thing is Sujiksa. Sujiksa is for the guards and servants. When we go inside to Unhyengung, we can see Sujiksa first. And there are many small rooms. Last one is Noan dang. Noandang is the Sarangxhae of Unhyeongung Palace. Noan means 'living comfortanly in old age.' Heungsun Daewongun made the hanging board using calligraphy, Kimjeonghee's letter. In this part, i was so surprised about Heungsun Daewongun can drew well. This is my first time visiting Unhyeongung Palace so i was very fun and great. Thank you. |
