Today,I went to Unhyeongung palace. Unhyeongung was king Gojong and Heungsun dawongun's house. Before king Gojong,king Cheoljong ruled the kingdom. So,he must got son,for the next king of Joseon dynasty. But,poor king Cheoljong doesn't have any son. I felt sorry for him. But,it was very lucky to king Gojong,because he took placese after king Cheoljong.

We are calling Unhyeongung a palace. But yesterday,we learned that Joseon dynasty had just five palaces. Then why we are calling Unhyeongung a palace? Because,it was king Gojong's house until king Gojong's coronation. So,it was king Gojong's house. That's why we are calling Unhyeongung a palace.

At Unhyeongung palace,Noandang was Sharangche of Unhyeongung. So,Noandang was Heungsun Dawongun's place. So,Heungsun dawongun greated guest and talked about political issues at here. Norakdang is anche of Unhyeongung palace. Emperor Gojong and empress Myeongsung's wedding ceremony was also held at here. And empress Myeongsung recived queen lesson at here,too. Norakdang was not beautiful as Gyotaejeon,but it was still beautiful. There is surprise. At Unhyeongung,there's two anche. First one is Norackdang,and second one is Inrodang. First,I just thought 'Why do they built one more anche?They can use one anche.'But after seeing Noandang,my thought are changed.But it's large,though. Anyway,king Gojong's mother stayed at Irodang,a new anche.It was great as Norakdang.

Unhyeongung palace was not really sophisticated,or perfect hanok,but I think it has it's own beauty.
