Hi. My name is Alisha. Today I went to Namsan Hanok Village. There were five tiled roof houses which is for Yangban, Joseon noble men.

As you know in the palace, there are three quarters. Inner Palace, Outer Palace, and Resting and Hosting Palace. But in tiled roof house has Sarangchae, Anchae, and Hangrangchae.

The best house that I think is that Yoon Taekyoung¡¯s house. The reason why I think Yoon Taekyoung¡¯s house is best among all of them is because of the shrine. When I first know about the shrine, I think that they consider and respect their ancestors. It makes me to think about my grandfather.

The most interesting thing was the height of the floor. If you look at the height of the floor. You can know the floor¡¯s height are usually different. Usually Sarangchae¡¯s floors¡¯ height are the highest. And Anchae¡¯s floors¡¯ height are lower than Sarangchae¡¯s, but higher than kitchen and Hangrangchae, the servants¡¯ living quarters.
