Namsan Hanok Village

Hello everyone my name is Harry.I will talk about Namsan Hanok Village. There have hanok. Usually nobleman live in hanok. In the hanok there have chamber pot. And in winter people used Ondol heating system. I am interested in this, so I will tell about it.

First, I will talk about chamber pot.They washed their faces in their rooms. They took a bath at night with their clothes on. This was because they were not allowed to show their bodies to others. 
The toilet was far from the main building because of the smell. However, there was a chamber pot in the rooms for urine. In palanquin there was a chamber pot. Because, palanquin couldn't stopped it.

Next, I will talk about Ondol. The Ondol (warm stone) kept the floor warm. It is a traditional Korean floor heating system.  
When cooking in the kitchen, the warm air heats the floors. The elders sit inside the room and the young people sit near the door because the inside is warmer. There have wood floor. But under the wood floor there have fire to used it for heating. It is interesting.

After this trip, I can learn about Namsan Hanok Village. And next time I want to know about this more. THANK YOU!
