Hi. My name is Alisha. Today I went to Seoul Museum of History. I saw many things in museum such as Hanbok, Hopae, and miniature of Six Ministries Street. I have two thing and an interesting thing that I want to explain.

The first thing that I want to explain is Hyungbae. Hyungbae was embroidered patches on the breast and on the back of official uniforms. We could know how high his class by Hyungbae. It had different patterns by his job and class. King and Crown prince could have a dragon pattern. Civil officers had crane patterns, and military officers had tiger patterns. And if someone was a civil officer and his class was high, then he had two crane pattern. And if someone was a military officer and his class was low, then he had one tiger pattern.

The second one that I want to explain are three village; Bokchon, Jungchon, and Namchon. First of all, I will explain about Bokchon. Bukchone is the best place to live according to the feng shui. So many royal families and high class officials live there. Next is Jungchon. Jungchon is village where Technical Specialists lived. Technical Specialists were Jungin, the middle class and they had jobs auch as translators, doctors, legal officers and so on. Last village is called Namchon. In Namchon, there were many important military facilities. Also in Namchon, many poor noblemen lived. But a few powerful nobles lived there, too.

The most interesting thing was Six Ministries Street. There were ÀÌÁ¶, È£Á¶, ¿¹Á¶, º´Á¶, ÇüÁ¶, °øÁ¶. ÀÌÁ¶ and È£Á¶ in East line, ¿¹Á¶, º´Á¶, ÇüÁ¶, °øÁ¶, ÀÌÁ¶ in West line. ÀÌÁ¶ is the place associated with appointment of officials. È£Á¶ is the place associated tax, finance, census...etc ¿¹Á¶ is the place associated rituals, diplomacy, and state examination. º´Á¶ is about military. ÇüÁ¶ is the legal department. °øÁ¶ concerned public works, industry and so on.

I thought that the main facilities were located separately. So I was surprised when I knew that Six main facilities were in same street. I felt happy when I learn about history that I didn¡¯t know. And if I could, I want to explain to my family, too. I hope that I will always remember what I have been learned today. Thanks for your time.
