Hi,my name is kwonyongjun and this is my essay for ban ki min class.

So I¡¯lol explain about Gwanghwamun gate.

Gwanghwamun was the main gate of Gyeongbokgung palace.

Gyeongbokgung palace is the first main palace of Jose on dynasty.

The name of this gate ¡®Gwanghwa¡¯ means ¡®shine glow,widely.This was named by scholars of jiphyeonjeon.

Gwanghwamun seems fancy and big,but it has its sad story.

During the imjinwar, Gwanghwamun destroyed by

Japanese invasion.

Although many palaces include Gyeongbokgung were destroyed,too.

Fortunately in 1865,during gojong period,the father of king gojong,heung seon rebuilt the Gyeongbokgung.

So Gwanghwamun was rebuilt.

And during Japanese coronial,the Japanese official wanted to build the Japanese government-general of Korea.

So Gwanghwamun moved its locate by Japanese.

But the one tragedy remained.

During war of Korea in 1950,Gwanghwamun destroyed because of the war damage.

So many year passed,in 1968,the Gwanghwamun reconstruction started.

In 2010 the Gwanghwamun can get back its original shape.

We know about Gwanghwamun¡¯s story.

Our heritages are too old.

But we must interested if our heritage.

Because it is our ancestor¡¯s legacy.
