Today I went to the National Museum of Korea, also known as the '±¹¸³ Áß¾Ó ¹Ú¹°°ü'.
Among many interesting ancient tools, my favorite was the Bronze Dagger.
As you can already guess, the Bronze Dagger was made in the Bronze Period. Furthermore, unlike the one made in China, the Korean Bronze Dagger was different from it.
So, the special way used to make the dagger was to make the blade and the grip seperately. You might wonder, 'why?'. The reason was because if blade fell off, you could make a blade and put it together with its grip again, and the same if the grip fell off. About this I should say, it was the world's first recycling of the Bronze Age.
There were only two kinds of Bronze Dagger: The Mandolin-Shaped Dagger, and the Korean-Sharp Dagger.
In conclusions, I thought the Bronze Dagger was the pride of the Bronze Age, and shows the great improvements of the human beings from the Neolithic Age.
