I went to Unhyeongung Palace. Unhyeongung palace isn't a palace. But after Gojong became the king, people started to name it Unhyeongung Palace. It had only 4 buildings. It was Sujiksa, Noandang, Norakdang, and Irodang. Sujiksa was where the guards and the servants of Unhyeongung stayed. Noandang is the Sarangchae. Heungsun Daewongun met guests and discussed political issues here. Norakdang was where Heungsun Daewongun's family lived. But after Gojong and Empress Myeongseong got married, they had to move out. Gojong and Myeongsung's wedding was held here. Irodang was where Heungsun Daewongun's family lived after Gojong got married. I also got to learn about other things as well like the meanings of the lofty gates and the Juryeons. I really enjoyed going to Unhyeongung Palace today and I am looking forward to going to the Namsan Hanok Villiage tomorrow.
