Today I went to Changgyeonggung.

I was so expecting to go Changgyeonggung because it was eastern palace, too.

And the first reason I was astonished was that the main gate of this palace is Honghwamoon

but it was preserved after 1616.

Even though, it was burnt down during Japanese Invasion in 1592, but it was rebuilt by the king

Guanghaegoon.

The pavilions were all old, so I could feel the kings' mind.

And the second reason I was astonised was that Gyeongjong's mother Jangheibeen died here, and the prince Sado died here.

It is too sad that father killed his son.

The reason is: there was a fight of politics and the two of them was named Noron and Soron,

but Sado was friendly with just one of them so the different side thought that if he be the king,

our side will be weaker than now.

So they said to Yeongjo(who was Sado's father) that Sado is now crazy, and kill him.

So Yeongjo trusted them and killed Sado.

I think it is sad story.

It was good experience to go Changgyeonggung palace and I was so happy to be outside and saw many things.

I am  expecting Ducksugung now.....!!!
