My name is Nahyun Kim. We went to Sungkyunkwan University today. I didn't know a lot of people but it was great fun learning with them. It was very impressing to know that only the best students went there. The fact they took exams everyday shocked me. And I think they thought of Confucianism very seriously. It was obviously very important to follow the rules correctly And I admire Confucius a lot, because he has wonderful ideas about self control, being kind, et cetera, I think it was a good idea to have Munmyo inside because whenever the students looked at it, they would want to study hard like the sages. But I disagree on somethings, like no girls and how lower class people weren't allowed. They should have the same rights to study. And King Youngjo's tangpyeongbi was very memorable too. It is never a good idea to spread into factions. And after coming from Sungkyunkwan I feel like I should study much too. Thankyou for listening. |
