Hi, my name is Hyunseo Lee and i am going to introduce about Main gate.
The main gate is higher than the tiled roof, so it called the lofty gate. The lofty gate was high to show the prideof the nobleman. it was high to make easy for Choheon go in and come out, too. A 대문 and a sedan chair could get in the house through this gate. There was also another gate called the lower gate. Thanks for reading! |
