Hello, my name is SeongYong. Today I went to the 경운궁 and I learned many things.
I want to tell about 석조전 and 석어당. 석어당 is the only building at 경운궁 palace with a two tlered roof. The king 광해군 locked step mother 인목 in 석어당 because 광해군 is the 선조's son but 인목 had a son and she tried let him be a next king.
In 1897, King 고종 changed 조선 to 대한 empier so he think he need a new palace for 대한empire. He build 석조전. It is western style and it has king's room and servants room.
