Changgyeonggung palace Today, I went to changgyeonggung palace. changgyeonggung palace is one of the five palace in Seoul. songjong(성종) built it for his mother and his grandmother. First, when we passed throw the honghwamun(홍화문), which is a main gate of the changgyeonggung palce, we can see the myeongjeongjeon. we should cross the okcheongyo. every palace has the bridge and the bridge is middle of the main gateand the throne hall. people belived that before meeting king, they should clean their mind by the water. Next is about the inner and outer palace. inner palace is for royal familiy's living are and the outer palace are for the events and official works. Finally japsang is a figure in roof. japsang is a small figures athat characters in the novel of 'journey to the west.' Changgyeonggung has a beautiful stories but there was a bad stories like crown prince sado was killed by his own father. I think that this part is really sad.
