Changgyeonggung Palace My name is Gee Yoon Kang and today we went to changgyeonggung Palace. The king Seongjong buit this Palace for his motherand grangmother. But there was (ÀÓÁø¿Ö¶õ)at 1592 so the changgyeonggung Palace was burned down. The king Gwanghaegun rebuilt the changgyeonggung Palace at 1616. There were three sad stories which happend at changgyeonggung Palace. The first story is that the crown prince Sado was dead here. His father made him go in the rice cheast. The crown prince was dead in eight after he went into the rice chest. The second thing is that it became a zoo becauseof Japan. It was restored at 1984. The last story is that Lady Jang was killesd here. First I will talk about the Gyeongchunjeon and Hwangyeongjeon. At Gyeongchunjeon there was queen living. The were two people who were bornin Gyeongchunjeon. That peoples are King Jeongjo andHeonjong. At Hwangyeonjeon King and the crown prince leaved there. I liked the Dancheong most. Dancheong is the colorful Korean-styled decorations. It simbolizes the power of the king. There are diffrent meanings by the color. The RED means the FIRE. The BLACK means the WATER. The Green and blue means the nature. The WHITE means METAL. And the YELLOW means the EARTH. I also liked the Japsang. Japsang is the small figures which are on a roof. There is four animal on the roof. These are from the Chinese novel Journey to the West. There are monkey, pig, masterof buddist monk and the water ghost. It was a fun day!
