Today, I went to Changgyeong Palace. It is one of the main palace in Seoul. King ¼ºÁ¾ is the one who built this palace for his mother and grandmother. It changed into a zoo once by Japan, but portunatly it was restored in 1984.

Changgyeong Palace have three main parts. It is Outer Palace, Inner Palace and backyard. In Outer Palace, there are ¸íÁ¤Àü, ¹®Á¤Àü, ¼þ¹®´ç. Which were used for official works and events. The Inner Palace was used for daily lives of royal family. There are °æÃáÀü, ȯ°æÀü, ¾çÈ´ç, Åë¸íÀü in Inner Palace. ¸íÁ¤Àü was where the civil service exams were held and did civil, military officials review too. ȯ°æÀü is a living room for king. ÁßÁ¾ built this, however he also passed away here. In addition, there is Åë¸íÀü, for queens and crown princesses. Almost every queens that we know stayed here.

Actually we didn¡¯t have enough time to sightsee backyards. If I can, I want to come again and see backyards too. Also before I came here, I just thought Changgyeong Palace was small useless Palace. But I figured out it was wrong today.
