Hello.

My name is Amy. Today I went to National Museum of Korea. It's fun to learn about Korea. Korean Peninsula is located in the eastern part of Asia. 70% of its land is covered with mountains. It is separated into two different countries, South Korea and North Korea.

We can separate our history into different ages such as Ice Age, Stone Age, Bronze Age, Gojoseon, Iron Age, and Three Kingdoms. In Stone Age, we used stones to hunt animals. In Bronze Age, they made bronze daggers instead of stone tools. The difference between ours and those of China is that our daggers are separate into 2, but the Chinese daggers are not separated.

Dolmens were the tombs of tribe leaders. Goindol was a symbol of the power of a man. The stones used for Goindol were so heavy and many people can move them. The big stones show the powerful status of leader. I have been in Gochang and stepped on the top of Goindol with my sister with a help of the community lecturer. It's actually not allowed, but the lecturer helped us to climb up and see the town from the top. It was such an exciting experience. Now I realized the Goindol that I stood and saw was a tomb for one of the powerful person in that age.
