National Museum of Korea Do you know about the National Museum of Korea? Today, we went to the National Museum of Korea and learned things starting from the Ice Age to Balhae(¹ßÇØ). After the prehistoric ages like the Paleolithic Period and the Neolithic Period, there was the Bronze Age. During the Bronze Age, people changed a lot. There were differences of the poor and rich which lead to having a leader. The leader had things such as a bronze mirror and a bronze marble. Also, there were Dolmens for the leader. Then, Dangun established our first country Gojoseon(°íÁ¶¼±). This was the first step of our history. After the Gojoseon(°íÁ¶¼±) got destroyed, three countries, known as the three kingdoms got emerged. Those names were Goguryeo(°í±¸·Á), Baekjae(¹éÁ¦), and Silla(½Å¶ó). Also, there was a country named Gaya(°¡¾ß) which was located between Baekjae(¹éÁ¦) and Silla(½Å¶ó). Goguryeo(°í±¸·Á) was famous for their powerful and strong images. The famous king in Goguryeo(°í±¸·Á), King Gwanggaeto the Great(±¤°³Åä´ë¿Õ) made Goguryeo(°í±¸·Á) a strong country. Baekjae(¹éÁ¦) was famous for being delicate. My favorite country of all, Silla(½Å¶ó) was famous for their splendid golden crowns and culture. I was surprised to know that out of the ten golden crowns in the world, six are from Silla(½Å¶ó) and two is from Gaya(°¡¾ß). Also, Gaya was famous for their iron. After these countries, there was Balhae(¹ßÇØ) which was a large country with unified Silla(ÅëÀϽŶó). These were the things that we learned, and it was so fun to learn. I feel impressive that we, humans are always improving, until now. |
