Hello, my name is Eun Jae. Today, I'm going to tell you about the Sudamun prison. This was built in front of the Independence gate. They built it there because they wanted to emphasize that Joseon is their colony. These days, we call sudaemun prison but at first, people called it Gyungsung prison. The patriots usually arrested by the Japanese soldiers and went to the sudaemun. When they arrive the Japanese asked them some questions but if they don't answer properly, they tortune them. Andthen ask those questions again. If they don't answer still, they bring them to the execution room. And kill them. They put the dead body to the secret tunel.
