Hello! My name is Irene. We visited Sungkyunkwan today. The place I most like is Jongyeonggak. It is a library for the students of Sungkyunkwan. The 9th king of Joseon dynasty, Seongjong was the one who built it. I guess the books that was in there may be boring, but still, I want to read about it to know more about the lessons that was taught in Sungkyunkwan. Another place I like is Jinsa-sikdang. Students of Sungkyunkwan ate their breakfast and dinner there. They put their sign in the class roster and they get one point if they attended twice a day. And finally they can take the final exam if they got 300 points. I guess students of Sungkyunkwan didn¡¯t ate lunch.  The huge Ginko tree in front of Myeongrundang is more than 500 years old. It represents Confufcius teaching his disciples under the Ginko tree. Myeongrundang is the main hall where students had lessons and Daeseongjeon is a shrine where spirit tablets of Confucius is kepted.

After lookind around Sungkyunkwan, i felt how precious Confucianism was to the people of Joseon dynasty. The next time I visit Sungkyunkwan, i wish it will be the day when Confucius' birth and death is celebrated..
