Hi, I am Irene. Today I went to Changgyeonggung, Changyeongggung is known by the death of crown prince Sado and lady Jang. Crown prince Sado was put to death in a rice chest in Munmyeongjeon because his father, Yeongjo thought sado was crazy. We don't know the truth but I think he was nebillious because he was stressed because of the high expectations of his father.

One different thing of Changgyeonggung and other palaces is that the main gate, Honghwamun is heading east, not south like the other palaces. After passing Honghwamun we can see the Okcheongyo. People believed that by passing Okcheongyo, we can clean our mind and body.

I think Changgyeonggung is splendid indeed
