Gyeongungung Palace

  Today we went to Gyeongungung Palace also known by Doeksugung Palace. I'm gonna tell you about the places I liked which are Daehanmun, Seokjojeon and Jeonggwanheon.

  Daehanmun is the main gate of Gyeongungung Palace. At first, it wasn't the main gate. But it becamed the main gate because the original main gate, Inhwamun was narrow and the important buildings were neer Daehanmun.

  Seokjojeon is a western - style building. It has a living room for government officials, a reception hall and bedrooms for the kings and queen. Infront of Seokjojeon there is a splendid water fountain. In here we can see the difference of the western - style buildings and the Korean - style buildings. An example is that the water fountain is in the front but the Korean style, these should be at the back. This is very splendid because It's a western - style building. But I think Korean - style building is  more splendid and more beautiful.

  Jeonggwanheon was the best place for coffee and relaxiation. So King Gojong often came here and drank coffee. When i went inside of Jeonggwanheon and sat, It would be very nice to drink lemonade and relax. But they didn't allowed any foods or drinks. I  agree why Gojeong loved this place. I wish there's a place in my house like Jeonggwanheon.

  I am very surprised that DaehanJeguk's construction level is very high. Next time it could be nice to visit here with my family and enjoy this place. It was very fun and I hope you would enjoy this place
