Gyeongbok Palace

   Hello, my name is Rachelle. Today I visited Gyeongbok Palace. It was very exciting because it was my first time. Gyeongbok Palace was the main palace of  Joseon Dynasty. So, it was very fancy. The best place I choosed was Gyeonghoeru.

   Gyeonghoeru was a pavillion for the big and small parties.  Because Gyeonghoeru was surrounded with water, the water reflects Gyeonghoeru and that seemed very cool. Gyeonghoeru has 48 pillars. the outer pillars were square and the inner pillars were round. This comes from the Yin and Yang theory. And this pavillion also has 11 animal character, which is called japsang. The another reason that Gyeonghoeru is special is that it got the most Japsangs. It is  also  a national treasure. Now do you guys know why I like Gyeonghoeru?

   It was really cold at Gyeongbok palace but it was very fun and if I have a choice, I hope to go to Gyeongbokgung again and have fun.
