Unhyeon Palace

   What a good day! Today, I visited Unhyeon Palace, the personal house of Heungseon Daewongun. It wasn't an official palace, but there were many fun stories and interesting buildings.

   I personaly liked Norakdang because it has a lot of history. Norakdang is one of the women's living quarters in Unhyeon Palace. The special thing of Norakdang was that Lady Min got lessons and stayed here! And she and Emperor Gojong's marriage was held at this place!!! Norakdang was great. It was honorable for me to visit a place where a royal wedding was held.

   There was another story that led my attention. It is about Gojong and his pine tree.  He loved his pine tree so much so he erected a stone for the pine tree. It was very odd but I feel how much Gojong loved his pine tree. But I am very sad that the poor pine tree died.

   It was a cold day but it was glad to learn about the late Joseon Dynasty. HAve a great day!
