Unhyeong Palace was a personal haouse of Heungsun Deawongun that King Gojong lived in this house until age 12, before he become of king. It was not an official palace, but it is still important in history.
So today I will talk about 3main buildings of Unhyeong Palace, which are Noan dang, Norakdang, and Irodang.
First, Noan dang was Sarangchae that use for men. For example, at Noan dang, Heungseon Dewongun stayed here to met guests. He also discussed political issues here.
Second, Norakdang was Anchae that used for women. It was the place that King Gojong and Queen Myeongseong's wedding ceremony happened. Also Myeongseong received lessons here to become a queen.
Last main building is Irodang. Irodang was also Anchae that built after Gojong and Myeongseong's wedding. It was place that Heungsun Daewongun's wife(Gojong's mom) stayed here.
Finally, these are 3main buildings in Unhyeong Palace. These are very important in Korea's history. So we have to remember these buildings.
