Hi my name is Hyunseo Lee. Today i am going to talk about Markets in Joseon Dynasty.
Hanyang was the central marketplace for country's goods. There were shops called 시장 along Unjong street. They were licensed markets. Cotton goods, ramie fabric, silk and dried fish shops were popular. These shops were specially called 육의전. There were also unlicensed markets called Nanjeon. Thanks for reading! |
