Today, I went to Namsan village. Namsan village shows various shapes of tiled roof houses during the Joseon Dynasty.
The Hanok was built in harmony with nature, using material found in nature. They are made with wood. There were various types of houses during the Joseon Dynasty.
The palace is very large and beautiful. Only the king could lived in a house of more than 99kan.
A kan is the distance between two pillars. The palace was painted with Danchenong as a colorful decoration.
Noble lived in tiled roof houses.
Sarangchae including private library was the area for men and the main quarters, Anchae were for women. Servants stayed in the servant's quarters, Haengnangchae.
I think it was a very good time to learn about Namsan Hanok village.
