Hi my name is Hyunseo Lee and i am going ro introduce about Independence gate.
The Independence Gate was bulit in 1896 as a symbol of independence. People donated money to bulit it. It was modeled after the "Arch of Triumph" in Paris. Japen bulit the Seodaemun prison next to the gate. They wanted Koreans to stop thinking about independence.
