Today I went Seoul Museum of History. In the museum, I learned lots of imformations about Hanyang(Seoul). So today I will talk about Hanyang.
Hanyang was the historical name of Seoul. Also it is the capital during the Joseon Dynsty. So I'd like to talk about reason why Hanyang became the capital of Joseon. First, Hanyang was located in middle of the country. For example, when capital is located middle of the contry, the government can care about entire city and people can trade with another country with reiver and land. So King Teajo choose Hanyang to capital. Second, Hanyang was completed in 좌묘우사 배산임수 군주남면. For instance, 좌묘우사 means left of the King has 종묘 and right og the King has 사직단. Also, 배산임수 means back has mountains and front has stream. Lastly, 군주남면 means King always sitting to south. Finally, these are the reason why Hanyang was choose in capital of Joseon. So this is very important. That means we have to remember these reasons.
