Hello, today I went Seoul History Museum. In there I studied about Hanyang. Hanyang was capital city during Joseon Dynasty. Hanyang based on the confucianism. I'd like to talk 수선전도, ID card and patch. 수선전도 was made by Gosanja Kim jung ho. He also made 대동여지도, too. He was a famous architect. 수선전도 is map of Hanyang. You can see Inwangsan, Bugaksan, Naksan and Namsan. Inwangsan located in west, Bugaksan located in north, Naksan located in west, Namsan located in south. Next, 호패 is same as current ID card. It issued with only man over the age of 16 during Joseon Dynasty. It shows his name, birthday and date of pass the test. The back had the date of issue. People have to show this card to gatekeeper before they entered the gate. Hanyang is great capital geographically. The King looked at Hanyang standing at North. There is a Jongmyo to his left side and a sajikdan to his right side.(좌묘우산). There is a mountain on his back and the river in front of him.(배산임수). The King have to watching south side.(군주남면). Hanyang is enough to become capital that has all that thing. I feel Hanyang is not only beautiful but also great. I hope you visit to Hanyang(Seoul). Thank you for reading. |
