The Tongmyeongjeon was were Queen Inheon lived and died also Lady Jang died here .

Queen Inheon was a person from the mid classes like Lady Jang but King Sukjeong fell in love with Queen Inheon and they got married but soon after Queen Inheon had no babys so she was forced to go out of the palace then Sukjeong married with Lady Jang ,after a year King Sukjeong regreted his decision and Queen Inheon came back ,angry and jelous Lady Jand cursed an evil spell on Queen Inheon and she died ,investigatin about her death King Sukjeong found out about the evil spell and later on Lady Jang was forced to drinck poison and died .

     The Dancheong is our traditional color that shows status on Buddist temples and palaces ,this also keep the wood away from moisture and insects. The colors also have a meaning ,RED means FIRE ,BLUE & GREEN means WOOD and BLACK means WATER and WHITE means STEEL , YELLOW means EARTH .

     I was surprized that there are lots of senarios happening here and how could the Dancheong protect the wood from insects .
