Hi it's Wonjun. Today I visited Gyeongungung palace. I thought that Gyeongungung palace was a wonderful mix of  Korean buildings. I learned that two kings lived at the palace their names were king Gwanghieghn and emperor Seojong. I think the story with Seojong is more interesting so I'm going to talk about Seojong. Seojong was a special king because he was the first Korean king to d I think he was brave because only kings of big and powerful countries declared them selves emperor like China. That meant we were not servants of China. That is not the only thing that he changed, he changed the name of Joseon to Daehan empire which I thought was surprising. Here comes the sad part of his life. His wife was murdered by the Japanese and she was burn so that there would be no evidence. The Japanese spread her ashes at  Geongbokgung. Now the Japanese has killed the queen, I thought that it was very bad. Now that his wife has been assonated, he was very scared so that's why he moved to Gyeongungung. He only li but that comes later on. So after he moved to Gyeongungung he built an another main hall for the palace which is called Junghwajeon. It was a two story building, but was fired down so now it's only one story tall which was very sad. He's first connection to shikhaee was in Joenggwehreon while he met some Russians. I wonder what language they talked in? The Joenggwanheon was built by a Russian. So after 24 years he died by getting poison in he's drink which is very sad.
