Today I went to the National Museum of Korea. It had a lot of information about both the Prehistoric Age and the Historic Age.
I was most interested in the comb pattern pottery. It was made in the Stone Age by the Stone Age people back then. It is kind of triangular shaped, with a pointy bottom. The process is simple, but hard. First, you had to shape the clay. Second, you had to carve the comb pattern into the clay. After that, you had to bake it. In the process of baking it, the pottery would crack a little bit, but apparently that is actually normal. I thought that how they made the bottom pointy was clever, because that way it would be easy to put on almost every soft surface, although it wouldn't be useful on hard surfaces like on a rock or something.
I was higly interested and entertained and I want to visit the National Museum of Korea again.
