Hi~ my name is Sofia. I went to the National Museum of Korea. As it was very big, it contains many relics, but i was most inetersted in comb-pattern pottery. Now I'll explain about this comb-pattern pottery. During ice age, People didn't have food to store so they didn't need anything like basket but during stone age, they started to need storing space. So that's why they made comb-pattern pattery.It looks like upside down triangle which means bottom is sharp. This is made to put it in the dirt ground for storing food. When you see it closely, you can see typical pattern. This is made for mainly 3 reasons.

First it's differ from other tribes. Second it's to prevent it form cracking. And last it's to stop slippering form hand so it doesn't break. By this I thought that people long ago were also very smart in some ways so they were able to make civilization. The way of how they pondered of better life was just like now but the better thing is that they didn't destroy the invuronment as we do.
