Today, I went to Gyeongbokgung, and I will tell you about Gwanghwamun, Geunjeongjeon and the structure of the palace.

Gwanghwamun is the main gate of Gyeongbokgung. Gwanghwamun has been destroyed for 3times once  in Josen-Japanese war, once in Japanese occupation, and lastly on Korean war.

Geunjeongjeon is the thrown  hall of Gyeongbokgung and was for official ceremonies like coronations, weddings, or Cinese envoy receptions.

The structure of the palace was depended on the principles of Feng Shui. A palace should be oriented from North to South, there should be mountains on the north, streams on the south.

I learned a lot of things about Gyeongbokgung today. I think we should make Gyeongbokgung more famous all around the world.
