Hello, my name is Juha and today I visited Namsan Hanok Village.
I learned many things, and there were many interesting things around .

The first thing is that the Hanok was built with nature , I didn't know that the floors, doors and columns was
made out of wood and the walls were made with a mixture with soil and straw. so nails were rarely used.
I thought it is very interesting because I never thought mixture of soil and straw can make walls with it.

The second thing is the king can live in a palace which is 99 kan. So I learned that a kan is the distance
between two pillars. Also I learned that the palace was painted with dancheong so I thought it was very interesting.

The third interesting thing was Jangdokdae.
I thought Jandohdae was very interesting because Jangdokdae is made out of a special clay . Also there is a  a tiny hole that water and dirt can not go though, but only air can so it make fresh. So I thought the special clay was cool and I thought It was a great idea.

The forth thing is some wealthy Korean people used a silver spoon because if the poison gets on the spoon the silver spoon changes color. I thought it was very interesting that the silver spoon changes color when the poison gets on so it is very useful for there lives.

Also, I thought the Jukbuin is very useful in summer because, mens use it to hug it while they sleep to cool themselves. Also I learned that 'Juk' means bamboo and also, 'Buin ' means wife so it is a bamboo wife. I think this is a very funny name.

The sixth thing that it is very interesting is Family shrine. I think it is interesting as well because, it has to built before other houses and I learned that the family has to come every morning to pay their respects.

I thought the bathrooms were in the houses but later I knew that bathrooms were far away from the house so they didn't go there often. Also the noblemen washed their faces in there houses and took a shower with their clothes on. So I thought it was very weird in the olden days.

I liked Namsan Hanok Village and I learned many thing and I think the most of the facts were very interesting. I want to visit here again when it is warm.
