Today I felt the great fortune in Gyeongbokgung.
Gyeongbokgung was the main palace during the Joseon Dynasty.
I learned about Geunjeongjeon, Sajeongjeon and Gangneongjeon.
Geunjeongjeon is a part of the outer palace . It is the thrown hall and also the main building of the palace. Sajeongjeon is the King's daily working office. The king and his officers gather together here, to discuss political affairs and to study confucian canon. Gangneongjeon is the king's living quarter. There is no dragon ridge on the roof because the dragon ridge could be a symbol of the king. I would like to go there once again in spring.
Thank you for reading:)
