Go back to the Korean History and Enjoy the Past!!!

I went to Seoul Museum of History today.

I saw and learned many things. I would like to talk about Six Ministries Street, Bukchon,

Jungchon, Namchon and Smoke Signal Stations.

Six Ministries Street was called Yukjogeori because the compounds for the government offices

lined the east and west side.

There are many different kinds of villages in Hanyang. Bukchon has been a traditional residentical district for 600 years. There were many technical specialists in Junhcho. Namchon was the section of the capital at the foot of Namsan.

There were not the developed system like these days. So especially, the Smoke Signal Stations would be

the important in the past. These were put in place to alert the king and the people about emergency situations, such as invasions by using smoke and fire signals.

I could not look around there all in one day. I want to have a chance to go there again.
