First, Myeongjeongjeon was the throne hall. Many official events were held here such as coronations, wedding ceremony, meeting of Chinese envoys, Civil service exam, and other important events. Due to these kinds of events held here, I came to know that Myeongjeongjeon was one of the crucial place. Next, Dancheong is Korean stylish decoration used on buildings. It represents the dignity of King. The colors are splendid using red, black, green or blue, white and yellow. Red is for fire, black for water, green or blue for wood or tree, white for metal and yellow for earth. Whenever I see it, the beautiful colors make my mind bright. Lastly, Haminjung was the place where King awarded the people who passed the Civil service exam. When I sat on Haminjung, the shade and breeze saved me from the burning weather today. In conclusion, the visit to Changgyeonggung made me different people. I was King at Myeongjeongjeon, a famous Joseon painter in front of Dancheong, and the winner at Haminjung.
