Have you ever been to Changgyeonggung? Changgyeonggung is built by seongjong because for his mother and grandmother. But it burned at 1592 and was rebuilt in 1616 by King Gwanghaegun. Also they have sad story about Crown Prince Sado. 

First of all, we can see Honghwamun first. It is special gate because every gate is looking south but it is looking east. It is really splendid and only eastwards main gate. It is the nation's treasure and it still is just wwas when King Gwanghaegun rebuilt it in 1616. Honghwamun's color is beautiful Dancheong. And after the Honghwamun there is Okcheongyo. OKcheongyo is stone bridge that connects 2parts inside Changgyeonggung. And the moster Haeci is carved at the center of Okcheongyo. 

Secondly, Myeongjeongjeon is the place for official events. Here were held the Civil Service Exams, CIvil and Military Officials Reviews, National Anniversary Celebrations, coronations, royal weddings, envoy receptions and so on. It is at the Outer palace. And there are no splendid color inside of it. There are also place where the king works. We call it munjeongjeon. It is the place where the king and servants are talk about the policy.

Lastly, Dancheong is the special color for Korea. It symbolize the five elements. First red symbolize the fire. Second black symbolize water. Third green (blue)symbolize the tree. Fourth white symbolize metal. Last yellow symbolize the soil. It just used by the temple and palace. Because it was too expensive. One color in bucket was about 10 houses. That was too expensive to buy it. 

In conclusion I think the Changgyeonggung is the most sad palace at Joseon. I think it would be remember to us forever.
