Hello? I'm today's tour guide for you. Today we'll visit Namsan Hanok Village. I visit there first and it was very interesting! I'll introduce it to you about Jangdokdae(À嵶´ë), Anchae(¾Èä), and for last, bathroom system. For first, we'll look Jangdokdae. Jangdokdae is made of special clay. And it has little holes for ventilation. In that hole, air can ventilation but nothing else can go inside the Jangdokdae. So the thing in the Jangdokdae can be fresh. Jangdokdae is refrigerator of Joseon. Even though we bury Jangdokdae in ground is they cold enough as refrigerator? Do you know why Joseon people separate their houses? They separate their house 'cause they built their houses based on Confucian. And Confucian says men and woman, boys and girls have to be separate. So sarangche is room for men. In sarangche, son and father lived. You can think that Anche is for woman.. Anche is for mother and daughter. I thought about Anche's meaning. In Joseon, the women and girls can't go out the house with out men. And only for very important things. And 'an' is Korean for 'in'. So I think Anche's meaning is inside house. I think Joseon Women was very stuffy. And curious about the world. Tile-roof houses has very special bathroom. Actually, they didn't have bathrooms. If they wanted to go to bathroom, they just did it in chamber pot. Chamber pot is pot that has urine and crap. But I think chamber pot is too beautiful for it's usage. I think Joseon people's life was very interesting. But I think I don't want to live in Joseon, though. 'Cause I'm a girl and, girls can't go out the house. I would be very stuffy. And I don't like bathroom system too. Joseon people had very interesting life but I'm 21C constitution. What about you?
