Do you know about the hanok? Hanok is Korean traditoinal house and there are four kinds of them.

The first one is the thached roof house and the noremal people lived there.

Second there are tiled roof houses for noblemen.

Third is the palace and it was for the royal families and the king.

Lastly there is the buddist temples for monks.

To add hanok was built with materials from the nature and used nail rarely so it is easy to rebuilt in other places so that's why these houses are from other places but they are together. And at the Namsan Hanok Village, there are five houses and they were all tiled roof houses.

The house I'm going to explain is the house of Yoon Taekyoung because his house had a shrine for his son-in-law how is the king sunjung the last king in the Joseon dynasty's ancestors and I will explain it later. The house is unique because it was built in a shape of the chinese character which means 'the best' . The shrine in his house were in a good location. There were only four food tables to serve thier ancestors.

The  last thing that was interesting is the Ondol and it is the Korean heating system. It kept the floor warm so our ancestors could survive during the winter.

This is all I meant to tell you. Lastly the thing I felt today was that our ancestors think about their ancestors and I think we should learn that. Thank you for reading my essay!!
