Have you ever went to Gyeongungung Palace? I've been their today and learned bunch of stuffs.
I will present you about the food of the Joseon Dynasty.

First of all, did you know that kings of the Joseon Dynasly ate soybean paste stew? It is similar what we eat today, but the food's name, size were different. The food was made by ÁÖ¹æ»ó±Ã and ´ë·É¼÷¼ö.
They lived in the palace and served daily meals for the people in the palace. They also needed to keep the number of side dishes by the status of the person, For example, the Queen and the King were allowed to have twelve side dishes called surasang. Common people usually had boiled rice with three or five side dises, the noble men had seven and the prince had nine. The rice is a stapled food in Korea. Soup, kimchi and sauces were not counted as dishes because they were included in every meal.
All in all, I just talked about Joseon Dynasty's food. Thank you for listening.^^
