Have you ever been to Soul history museum? Today, I've visited Seoul history museum and it was very interesting so I'll introduce it to you. Do you know about Hoepe(호패)? Hoepe is ID card in Joseon dynasty. King Taejong made low of Hoepe. Men who are older then 16 year old has to wear Hoepe. I think Hoepe was very tiresome thing for Joseon peoples. 'Cause if they didn't bring Hoepe from home, they can't go in to their offices. 'Cause it was the low. In my opinion, the best thing was neighborhood. In Hanyang, there was three neighborhoods. First one was Bukchon. Bukchon was for rich noble mans. It's 'cause Bukchon was in between of Gyeongbokgung palace and Changdeokgung palace. And second one was Jungchon. Jungins lived in Jungchon. Jungin was people with specialized job. Such as doctors or lawyer. Third, there is Namchon. The poor noblemans lived in Namchon. Namchon was far from Gyeongbokgung and near the Nam mountain(남산). I think if I lived in Joseon, I would go to Bukchon, and built my house my self. Do you know the palaces of Hanyang? There were 5 palaces. Gyeongbokgung palace, Changdeokgung palace, Changyeongung palace, Deoksugung palace, Gyeonghuigung palace. And do you know they had name of their location? There were Seogwol and Dongwol. Dongwol is Changdeokgung and Changyeongung, Seogwol is Gyeonghuigung. Seogwol is west palace, and Dongwol is east palace. I think that the center of east and west is Gyeongbokgung palace. I learned many things in Seoul history museum. But I think best of all, was neighborhood. So I'd like to visit Bukchon, Jungchon, and Namchon. I recommend you Seoul history museum. And I hope you would visit Bukchon, Jungchon, and Namchon too.
