Before leaning this history part in ‘마리 이야기’
I've thought Korea was not brave in wars and battles. But after I leant about Korean history in ‘마리 이야기’
I thought Korea were brave and very smart.
Because of the sal-su war and im-jin war.
In sal-su war there were a great general,
Eul-ji-moon-deok. He planned a brilliant strategy, that because I thought the soldiers and another people were
smart. The other war I thought brave and smart both.
Because of Admiral Lee-sun-shin.
He won many naval victories against the japanese navy.
He predicted the war and prepared the military.
He made the first ironclad ship in the world.
It was called the turtle ship (Geo-buk-seon)
The ironclad made ships safe from fire and arrows,
and it could destroy japanese wooden ships easily.
How ever in many wars and battles there were
great generals and soldiers. -->
