Today, I went to the Seoul Museum Of History. I quickly went through the museum and learned about the Hopae, and the Embroidered Patterns.
Hopae was an old ID card. The nomal people had to show the Hopae to the gate keeper before they entered the gate(palace). In the front side of the Hopae, they wrote their name, the date of birth, and they wrote their class. And at the back side, they wrote the date of issue.
The official uniforms had an embroidered patch on the chest. The Cilil officers had crane, which symbolized
integrity, and the Millitary officers had tiger patterns, which represented bravery.
Today, I had a very good time, and If I have another chance, I want to visit here again. THANK YOU!! |
