The first sight of the palace was so giant and luxurious. There I learned the meaning of Gyeongbok and what Gwanghwamun is. Also, I learned about Gyeong-hoe-ru.
First, I will tell you the meaning of "Gyeongbok." Gyeongbok means people live happily without worries because of the king's wise ruling. And it means "Great Fortune", too.
Second, let me tell you about Gwanghwamun. It is the main gate and it is rebuilt three times because of the wars. Fortunately, it is now back at its original place.
Finally, I will introduce Gyeong-hoe-ru. It is for parties and resting. Gyeong-hoe-ru is supported by 48 stone pillars. The interesting fact about Gyeong-hoe-ru is that it was called using rapidly because the king used to enjoy parties everyday and the money of the Chosun Dynasty was used rapidly.
The Gyeongbok Palace is used by the king and the king's family and it is rebuilt many times. I think the Gyeongbok Palace is very beautiful.
