There was a period when the people of Europe were strongly tied up to the term "god". However, gradually, the people began to think more in human's point of view. People began to get interest in fields such as science, art, philosophy, etc. There was a similar period as this in the history of Europe; the Greek and Roman era. Due to this, this part of the European history is called Renaissance. The word has meanings such as reborn, or revival. This movement bagan in Italy. In Italy, the power of church was relatively weak, so the traders of the country could travel aroung the world and contanct with the rich culutre of Asia and Africa.
