Hello, everyone? My Korean name is Song Ah Yeon and my English name is Sally. Today, I went to Unhyun palace and learned a lot. But most of all I learned about Heung-seon-daae-won-gun, King Gojong and queen Min. So I will tell you about these guys. Please read carefully.

     First, I will tell you about Heung-seon-dae-won-gun. He is Andong-Kim's clan but the clan didn't care about him. Bicause he always hanged out with gangsters and acted like a fool. But when his son, Gojong, became a king, he ruled Joseon dynasty.

     Second, I will tell you about King Gojong. He was a son of Heung-seon-dau-won-gun and he became 26th king of Joseon dynasty at the age of 12. Because at that time, King Cheoljong didn't have any sons, and Heung-seon-dae-won-gun had close relationship with Cheoljong. So his son, Gojong became a king. But in 1897, he changed Korea's name to Dae-Han-Jae-Kuk and called himself emperor.

     Finally, I will tell you about queen Min. She was a wife of King Gojong. She played an active part in politics. Also, she had close relationships with Russia and other countries unlike Heung-seon-dae-won-gun. However, Japan didn't like the idea. So, they sent gangsters and soldiers to assassinate queen Min. So that was how queen Min was assassinated. It was a tragedy.
