Joseon suffered for 60 years from clans that controlled the country. Then, Èï¼±´ë¿ø±º took power and tried to make things all right. He increased the king's power and abolished the systems that made people suffer. He also refused to trade with foreigners. But Queen Min started to trade and put effort in modernizing the country. Japan was modernized much earlier than Korea, and started to interfere in Korea's political issues. They interfered more and more and eventually colonized Joseon in 1910.

  After a few years in 1914, World War 1 broke out. There was a assassination of Austria's crown prince by a Bosnia person. The 2 countries started to fight and the allies of the two joined. The armistice ended the war. Peace talks were held and it was led by the Big Four: Italy, France, Great Britain, and USA. In 1939, Germany started the World War 2 and won a lot of wars. Their territory became larger and larger but began to lose in wars after Russia joined. Germany, Italy, and Japan was in one team. Italy surrendered after Musolini, Italy's leader, was hung. Then, Hitler killed himself and surrendered also. USA dropped nuclear bombs in Japan because they attacked Pearl Harbor. Japan surrendered and Korea became independent.
