Today I went to Gyeongbok palace. First, I saw Geunjeongjeon. Geunjeongjeon is the main building of the palace. It is the Beobjeon of Gyeongbok palace. Celemonies, royal weddings, and chinese envoy receptions were held there. Next, I went to Sajeonjeon is the private office of the king. Sajeongjeon also called Phyunjeon. At Joson dynasty, the king and queen had separate living quarters. The king stayed in Gangneongjeon. Gyoteajeon is the living quarters of the queen. \The queen gave a birth in a special room called Geonsungak. There are a little garden called Ahmisan. It was mot easy for the queen to go gutside. That is why the king made this beautiful garden for the queen. Heungseondaewongun built Jagyeongjeon for the king's mother. Gyeonghoeru is a large pavilion for resting and hosting parties. It is one of the National treasures. Today It was a bad weather, but I had a good time. It was fun. |
